About Us

We are a group of students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln under the college of Journalism and Mass Communications. “Lincoln Food Trucks” started as a class project and became a mission to help students explore our city through food. Since starting our project, we went through many phases and forms; all of which lead to the portfolio you see before you today. Lincoln Food Trucks has become a way for students to experience, understand and collaborate with cultures that aren’t their own and interact with businesses that are unique to our community.

Our Mission

Each of us believe in the importance of sharing and educating ourselves on different cultures and supporting the local businesses that keep Lincoln going. Our city is home to many food trucks, hidden gems and food spots just waiting to be discovered by the public. It’s always easiest to stop by the chain down the street, but sometimes a local restaurant can satisfy your craving better than any drive-thru could. Lincoln Food Trucks is here to help students and citizens celebrate the beauty of diversity and support the local businesses that make our city special.
